Known for his great tone, and heralded by Modern Guitar as “one of the finest acoustic guitar players today”, Klugh worked with George Benson and Return to Forever in the ‘70’s before striking out on his own. His breakthrough came with 1979’s “One on One” a Grammy winning collaboration with Bob James (Fourplay). Since that time the guitarist has amassed 12 Grammy nominations, most recently The Spice of Life.
Not surprisingly, the adult-aimed radio stations that have followed Klugh’s music through 23 Top Ten Billboard Jazz Chart albums (five of them No. 1). Driftin’ is also an iTunes Bestselling Jazz Song and is one of Billboard’s Hot Smooth Jazz Songs.
