Jeremy Loops latest offering “Skinny Blues” has already achieved chart topping success, hitting the number one spot on PUK FM, TUKS FM, MFM. “Skinny Blues” has also shot into the 5FM Top 40, reaching the #2 spot last week after just 7 weeks on the charts.
The music video shows fans a more vulnerable side to Loops. Depicted by a cascade of luminous hearts, Jeremy Loops discloses his inner-most sentiments and longing for his previous lover. Without the incessant approach of revealing all that has influenced the relationships current status, the simplicity of this montage allows the audience a direct insight into his thoughts on the relationship’s outcome.
‘Skinny Blues is one of my favourite songs on the record and the concept for the video, where we purchased a kilometre of fairy lights for the treatment, is one of my favourite ways of approaching art. It’s simple, but beautifully executed. I couldn’t be more proud of what we achieved with it,’ he says.
